Hi Friends,
In a bonus follow-up to our October conversation on The Magic Number (Part One), Todd Sattersten, publisher and owner of Bard Press, is generously sharing even more of his road-tested strategies for helping a book achieve escape velocity.
Todd is so passionate about helping every book be successful that he only publishes one book a year. He shares ways of investigating and possibly repositioning when a launch isn’t gaining traction, his three-sentence problem statement that has the greatest chance of attracting ideal readers, and why the design and readability of the Table of Contents and first chapter are essential parts of the marketing process.

💭 Questions
What are you reading, listening to, or working on that feels tedious? Is it possible that thing is not for you?
If you must do it (i.e. taxes 😵💫) is there something you can do to ease the process? Delegate certain aspects? Reward yourself for collecting supporting documents by heading to a favorite cafe afterward?
